Harmony lies in understanding—

whether between faiths, between species, or between tradition and cultures.

Simon's Animal Research

A passionate animal lover who enjoys taking care of and raising various pets. I have a deep interest in breeding new species, carefully studying and experimenting to bring out unique traits in animals. At the same time, I have some knowledge of animal health and always do my best to treat and care for sick animals. For me, animals are not just companions but precious equals that deserve love and dedication.

Ancient Beats

Drawing inspiration from Buddhism, we incorporate meditative instruments such as singing bowls and wooden fish drums, whose resonant tones help soothe the nervous system and guide participants into a state of mindful stillness. We also study the Buddhist principles of mindfulness and compassion, exploring how these enduring teachings can inform modern approaches to stress management and emotional awareness.

From Taoist traditions, we have adopted breathing and meditative exercises that emphasize the circulation of qi—the body’s vital energy. For instance, sessions in Taoist abdominal breathing and gentle qigong-style stretching help members regulate their breathing rhythms and cultivate a calm, centered state of mind. These practices are often paired with discussions on Taoist philosophy, especially its vision of harmony between humanity and nature.

Our members also engage with Indigenous and animistic traditions, particularly Native American drumming rituals, where rhythmic repetition becomes a means of grounding awareness. Whether playing or simply listening, the steady beats of the drum bring heart rate and breath into natural synchrony, fostering both inner focus and a shared emotional resonance within the group.

In addition, we are deeply committed to revitalizing traditional Chinese cultural wisdom—studying classical literature, ritual music, and ancient wellness practices. Through group readings and guided exercises, we explore how Confucian, Daoist, and Buddhist worldviews converge in their understanding of the mind–body connection. Some of our sessions also introduce gongfu and breath-based movement practices, blending physical activity with mental stillness to achieve both vitality and tranquility.

Our Mindfulness Program

Our club is dedicated to exploring approaches to mental well-being that go beyond medication, focusing on how traditional philosophies, spiritual practices, and cultural arts can foster a deeper sense of inner peace and balance. We believe that caring for the mind and spirit is not merely a clinical task, but a profoundly human journey—one rooted in rhythm, breath, reflection, and connection.

To help our members—and a broader audience—experience the importance of breath and meditation more directly, we have developed an interactive digital mini-program focused on meditation and relaxation. This program combines insights drawn from our in-person practices with diverse cultural traditions, offering features such as guided breathing rhythms, mindfulness audio meditations, virtual singing bowl and wooden fish soundscapes, and immersive natural ambient sounds. Users can select modes tailored to their needs—from a brief three-minute “breath awareness” session to a full-length guided meditation course—allowing them to find calm and grounding even amidst a busy study or work schedule. The program also includes a “mind journal” written and maintained by our members, encouraging users to record their daily reflections and insights. In this way, the warmth and depth of our in-person practices continue seamlessly into the digital realm. Through this innovative initiative, we aim to create a true dialogue between ancient wisdom and modern technology, helping more people access the transformative power of peace and awareness in everyday life.

Ultimately, our club serves as a laboratory for exploring the spiritual dimensions of consciousness and mental health. Through weekly workshops, open discussions, cultural exchanges, and digital engagement, we invite participants to reflect on how ancient wisdom can enrich modern approaches to well-being. Every chant, breath, and rhythm is not merely a relaxation technique, but a gateway to deeper consciousness and compassionate awareness.

Our mission is to create a welcoming and contemplative space where people can respectfully engage with diverse traditions, experience moments of peace, and draw inspiration from the world’s collective wisdom—illuminating a path toward emotional resilience, self-understanding, and holistic harmony.

About Simon

Passionate Researcher

------I grew up in a family with diverse religious beliefs—my grandparents were devoted Catholics, my maternal grandparents followed Buddhism, and my mother practiced both Buddhism and Taoism. At the age of 12, I began studying Buddhism under Master Zhaocheng at Longhua Temple, and at 16, I started learning Sanskrit to understand Buddhist scriptures in their original form. Around the same time, I also delved into Taoism and began practicing Baguazhang, a martial art that aligns with Buddhist meditation in its emphasis on inner cultivation.

Beyond spiritual exploration, I have always been deeply connected with animals. From an early age, I observed and cared for various species, gradually developing expertise in selective breeding, medical care, and behavioral studies of non-traditional pets. This passion led me to establish Simon's Animal Behavior Club, a platform dedicated to supporting animal lovers worldwide.

My journey across multiple spiritual traditions and my bond with the natural world have shaped my worldview, helping me navigate the rapidly evolving era of artificial intelligence with clarity rather than fear.
