At the end of 2024, when a devastating earthquake struck Dingri County in Tibet, I initiated a relief campaign through both my school’s student council and social media platforms. The call to action resonated widely, and within a short period we successfully raised 120,000 RMB in donations. The funds were delivered to the disaster-affected area via the Shanghai Da Ci Charity Foundation, ensuring timely assistance to those in need.

The campaign received widespread recognition and was covered by major regional media outlets, including Tibet Dailyand Tibet.cn. More importantly, it united students, parents, and community members in a shared effort to support survivors and aid in the region’s recovery.

This experience reinforced my belief in the power of collective action, especially in times of crisis. It taught me that leadership during emergencies is not only about raising funds, but also about inspiring trust, mobilizing resources efficiently, and ensuring transparency in how aid is delivered. The outpouring of support from people I had never met showed me how compassion can transcend distance and cultural boundaries.
